Come Join Us! PS 34 will participate in the Block Festival on Saturday September 20, 2014. You can meet some of our staff and parents volunteers. We will have Mini Talent Show led by PS 34. All participating children will receive a prize. 
At 3 pm you can hear our District 14 Superintendent Ms. Alicja Winnicki reading to the children.
All are welcome!

On Thursday, September 18, the first PTA Meeting will be held at 6:15 p.m. All parents are welcome to attend. Please enter through the Eckford Street entrance.

We will have a welcome breakfast for Kindergarten parents on Monday, September 8 at 8:45. Please join us for coffee and cake. Use Eckford street entrance.

The SSA will be having Afterschool Registration on Friday, September 5 at 2:35 p.m. Please lineup in the Eckford Street schoolyard. There are limited spaces available. It is first come, first serve.

Schedule Change: This Fall, our school hours will be changing. The school day will begin at 8:15 a.m. and dismissal will be at 2:35 p.m. These hours will be in place from Monday to Friday. Students who take school buses will be picked up earlier to accommodate the new school schedule. We will have breakfast for the children available beginning at 7:30 a.m. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us at the school at (718) 389-5842.

Note: The school day for AM Pre-K will begin at 8:15 and dismissal will be at 10:30. PM Pre-K class will begin at 12:15 and dismissal will be at 2:30.

Our 5th grade had their ballroom dancing recital on March 20th . The children did a beautiful job demonstrating intricate dances such as the Foxtrot and Tango to the delight of parents and the entire 4th grade. Our 5th grade team received a bronze medal at the ballroom competition at PS 376 Congratulations to all our talented dancers!
